Practice Areas
Consumer Debt Relief and Debt Defense
Our attorneys directly handle debt negotiations with creditors, speak by phone with enrolled clients about their cases, and represent clients in court when collection lawsuits are filed. We provide these services to individual consumers as well as to debt relief service vendors whose programs require real attorney involvement.
For debt relief service vendors, we also provide advisory and consultation on state by state regulatory and compliance matters across 48 states (every state except Alaska and West Virginia). Our guidance covers licensing, fee structures, disclosure requirements, and the operational standards that state regulators and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau(CFPB) expect from compliant debt settlement programs.
When creditors or collection agencies cross the legal line, we defend our clients against harassment and unlawful conduct that violates the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
Family Law
We represent clients in divorce, child custody, child support, parenting time, property division, paternity, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and domestic violence cases.
We offer consultations for clients dealing with complex family law issues who want professional advice at any stage of their case or before deciding their next step.
For clients who plan to handle their own case in court, we provide affordable limited-scope legal assistance to pro se litigants (clients who appear in court without an attorney of record). You pay only for the time you use. We can help you locate the right court forms, review and edit your filings, organize your evidence, prepare you for mediation or hearings, and walk you through what to do next if your case gets stuck.
Education Law
Immigration Law
We represent students and their families in disputes with schools, colleges, and universities. Our practice covers academic misconduct allegations, disciplinary hearings, academic dishonesty charges, Title IX investigations, Title VI complaints, and disability accommodation matters under the ADA and Section 504.
We also represent faculty members in tenure track disputes, including denial of tenure, promotion challenges, and related employment matters within higher education.
Whether you are facing a disciplinary hearing, an investigation, or a decision that could affect your academic record or career, we work to protect your rights and your future.
We represent individuals, families, and employers in a wide range of immigration matters before USCIS, the consulates, and the immigration courts.
On the family side, we handle spousal and fiancé petitions, parent and child petitions, adjustment of status, and consular processing for relatives abroad.
On the employment side, we handle labor certifications, employer sponsored visas, National Interest Waivers (NIW), and O-1 visas for individuals of extraordinary ability.
We defend clients in removal and deportation proceedings before the immigration courts, including bond hearings, cancellation of removal, and appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).
We also handle asylum applications, appeals of visa refusals and denied petitions, and I-601 and I-601A waivers for clients who have been found inadmissible to the United States.
Affordable Civil Litigation
We represent clients in civil matters across multiple states, including landlord and tenant disputes, family law, personal injury, traffic violations, employment law (including noncompete agreements and Family and Medical Leave Act claims), probate, and other general civil cases.
We offer three levels of service so clients can choose what fits their case and their budget.
For clients who plan to represent themselves in court, our pro se support service includes form review, document preparation, and attorney guidance at any stage of the case. It is an affordable and effective alternative for clients who want professional input without committing to full representation.
Our paralegal services, provided under attorney supervision, start at $60 per hour and cover form filing, document preparation, and case organization so you arrive in court fully prepared.
For clients who want full representation, our attorneys handle every stage of your litigation and advocate aggressively for your rights at competitive rates.
Legal Demand Letter
Most lawsuits in the United States are resolved outside of court. A well crafted demand letter, grounded in the relevant statutes, case law, and local court practice, often resolves a dispute before either side ever files a complaint. It saves you the time and expense of litigation while putting you in a strong position to negotiate a fair outcome.
Our demand letters are prepared and signed by a state licensed attorney. Each letter is based on the specific facts of your case, the legal authority that supports your position, and a realistic assessment of how similar cases have been handled in your jurisdiction. We send the letter directly to the opposing party or their counsel, opening the door to negotiation or mediation while making clear that you are prepared to enforce your rights in court if needed.
Demand letters start at $129. Contact us for a free consultation.
